Using Inkscape with Cutters/Plotters Set order to part of SVG file to cut

    I have created a graphic with InkScape. The graphics is a circle with a Text inside it. Now I should to pass SVG file to Laser GBRL and use my laser to cut the image.

    Now I want to set which part cut before and whic part cut after. How can I set this ??

    I guess the z-order of the objects matters. Did you make trials ? 

    A workaround saving two different files, one for each task.

    Layer or Object → Layer and Object

    When you use Path → combine or Object → group you set priority by the path
