I am desperately trying to create a vector file from my scanned black and white hand drawn pencil sketch. I export the vector file into pdf abd sent it to my printer. But my printer tells me that the created pdf file is created in CMYK and not black and white. Where can I set the correct black and white setting?
I wonder where the cmyk color info in the PDF come from. PDFs out of Inkscape have no embedded Color Profile from my experience. Usually you can select the black part and go Fill and Stroke tab and set it to RGB=0 just in case you have another color model selected.
And Path->Trace Bitmap->Single Scan should be black (+white) only.
