Hello, all. First time poster, somewhat long time Inkscape user. I saw the suggestion to post possible bugs here first, so here you go. I'd *love* to learn that this isn't really a bug but something with an easy fix.
Whenever I try to use the Bezier w/ellipse tool to draw any sort of closed polygon, the shape ends up having crazy duplicated, offset segments. It's hard to describe, but I'm attaching a video and screen grab where I just tried to draw two simple rectangles and a triangle.
I've done projects using this tool tons of times without a problem. I'm using version 1.0 (4035a4fb49, 2020-05-01), but this started happening after an earlier update--not sure which one. I think it was sometime last fall when I became aware of it.
Sorry if I've missed where this has already been discussed or if it's a known bug--I couldn't find anything. Thanks for any ideas you have about it.

Yes - same here with 1.1devel/macOS: it will not work any longer with "corner" nodes.
