If you watch "The Late Show with Steven Colbert," then you know who Jon Batiste is. Ken, you are the Jon Batiste of graphic design. I am so impressed with what I see that ... ummm ... Ken, this technique is just so cool. Please accept my gratitude for sharing it with us (as in the rest of the world). It makes me want to learn how to use Inkscape!
Stay well and may your well of creativity continue to overflow,
Wow, Roy. You have over-complimented me. Thanks for the kind words. I do not live in a cave but I have never heard of this artist before. I really enjoy his energy and creativity. Thank you for sharing him and making me aware of his music. A big plus.
Thank you also for the well wishes.
By the way, I just noticed your initials are R ... T. A r t y. Arty. Keep exploring and expressing your art. It adds juice and "boosts" us all. Onward and upward.
My wife and I put everything down and listened to Jon being interviewed on Oregon Public Broadcasting and paid close attention when he talked about his oscar with Steven Colbert. To me, it's as if he and the piano meld into one being when he sits down and puts his hands on the keyboard. This ... melding is always a source of amazement and wonder. And I speak as a musician myself. So, Ken, when you create a new technique that never got on my radar screen, I have to sit back, let it soak in, and enjoy what I see. Tyler, yes, what a special moment. "God gave us 12 notes ..." Look at what you can do with 12 notes! We dreamed up the 1 and the 0, and now look at what our computers can do, and that includes Inkscape. All those 1s and 0s to help create Ozant Luiky's "About Inkscape Screen" drawing, Ozant's imagination notwithstanding. I'm starting to get lost in distraction.
Thank you for an absolutely delightful chat! It adds impetus to get back to Chapter 18. I'm exploring the lithographic look this time. It's a challenge, and yet, it can be done.
Hi. Trying to think a little "outside the box". See the 3 graphics below.
This day is a gift. Share your creativity with others!

Ken and Polygon,
That is a great video clip! I know Jon Batiste only from the Steven Colbert show. You introduced me to a whole new facet of what he does.
The littlest of things can have greatest of meaning,
Roy
