    Hi All,

    Fedora 34
    inkscape-1.1-4.fc34.x86_64

When I export a png of my drawing, I get two pages in the png.  One exactly like what I see in my .svg and a second page that looks the same as the first, only the text is offset lower by about 3/4 of an inch.

    How do I fix?

    Many thanks,
    -T

    Hi.

That´s a phenomenon I never heard before because Inkscape doesn´t support multiple page layouts. Can you describe how you export your drawing?

File --> Export png image --> File Name (center, far right) --> export

Opening the png with eog (eye of gnome) and ristretto.  Gimp renders the svg like an overlay of two on top of each other.

Picture (paperclip does not work): Gimp

Ristretto show two pages: ristretto twp pages

Th svg has private information on it.  I could do a save as and redact it, but I fear there are hidden layers I can not see.

Is there a way I can check for hidden layers?

Check main menu->Object->Objects… which displays all the content of your file.

    Yipppe!!!

I sent through each object and those that did not appear, I deleted.  Happy camping has returned
