I brought up the color picker by clicking on the solid block, and went to change the saturation on my default black text, and suddenly the hue changed and then the Saturation and Value, whereever I am moving the mouse. Equally, when I brought up the wheel, it was also chasing the mouse pointer.
Tyler - I don't think this is a computer issue. I could have sworn that was a reported issue. I experience the same thing quite a bit. Something to do with the dialog loosing focus. Just moving the mouse inside the dialog once it looses focus causes the slider values to change.
Not just this dialog. Any dialog (LPE, Filter editor, maybe even marker and pattern editors) that has a slider. With me , it seems to occur when I adjust a slider, then move to the canvas to do something then come back to the dialog. The slider will follow the mouse horizontal movement even if no where near the slider.
Lately, I been noticing it in the filter editor (trying to learn filters). Editing the sliders in the predefined Pointillism filter. I'll edit the turbulence or displacement map scale. Move my mouse to change the stroke width at the bottom left of the UI. Come back to the filter editor and "sometimes" the slider will start moving by itself. What triggers it, no clue. I think my term of "losing focus" is the wrong term. I think a better term is the "focus should be reset" once the mouse returns to the dialog.
It is a verified issue - so hopefully it will be solved in v1.5.
Just tried the 1.5 dev snapshot, and that problem seems to be gone. However there's some sort of craziness happening with the cursor (takes many clicks or maybe crazy latency), so I'm not sure it isn't masking it.

This is awful, how do I make it stop?
Very unusual. I'd reboot the computer.

I'm not able to reproduce here in Win11 nor Mint 22. 🤷
