I've seen someone recreating a popular logo in Inkscape and it looked like the squares are not snapping. So I've tried to recreate it too, having snapping on and every square is a copy. But it still looks like the squares a bit off (if you look in the center, where all corners come together).
It is an illusion caused by antialiasing. It's a well known issue with CPU based rendering methods what don't have the complicated antialiasing *fixing* baked in. Inkscape has this issue.
