So, i have recently downloaded Inkscape on my Mac. Initially, I tried using the Pen tool with my drawing tablet and it was working normally meaning it was creating lines like I am drawing. I am unsure what has happened now, but it is working like the Bezier tool. All lines I create look like Bezier creations. I have switched the modes in the top left corner from Bezier, Spiro, BSpline, changing these modes did not help. Is there any explanation for what is happening, or is there any way to reset the tool to its default settings? See attached screenshot of the creation when i draw with the pen tool.

Can you check Pen Tool->Shape: is set to "None"?
Yes, it is set to none.
These are my pen tool settings:

You have "Spiro spline" active, is it intentional?
No, it is not. How do I change it?
I actually just reset all preferences and the tool is working now, but just incase, how do I change it if you don't mind advising
Simply choose the Bèzier option and check Stroke width too in the Fill and Stroke Panel
Thank you very much
