I cannot get the "C" in the text part to extend upwards as is shown in the tutorial. I have followed the directions there as carefully as I can and it doesn't work.
So, I select the leftmost node and the top center node as directed. I click the "Make selected nodes corner" and "Make selected segments line" tools as directed. I do not get the straight line between them as is shown in the Tutorial illustration, and when I drag the top center node left, it just pulls out a Bezier curve from the adjacent left node. I do not understand what I am doing wrong. Any help appreciated.
Are the problems I am having due to my using a Mac or because the software has been changed and the tutorial need to be updated?
