I'm encountering some difficulties connecting my Sphere-O-Bot (JJrobots version) to Inkscape, and I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me troubleshoot. Here's a rundown of the issue:
Problem: I'm unable to establish a connection between my Sphere-O-Bot and Inkscape. The device appears in the Windows Device Manager under "Ports (COM and LPT)" as "Arduino Zero" with the DEVIA Robotics Board v1.0. My operating system is Windows 10. Despite trying various versions of Inkscape, I'm currently using version 0.92.4 from JJrobots.
Error Message: When attempting to connect, I receive the following error message:
C:\Users\myuser\Downloads\inkscape-Sphere-o-bot (1)\inkscape Sphere-o-bot\pythonw.exe: can't open file 'eggbot.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
Steps Taken:
Verified the device appears in Device Manager.
Tried different versions of Inkscape, currently on 0.92.4 from JJrobots.
Checked for any missing files or directories related to the connection process.
Despite these efforts, I'm still unable to establish a successful connection between the Sphere-O-Bot and Inkscape. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
