Again, newbie here, so i apologize.  I tried looking thru for this answer but didn't see anything.

I need the text around the ornament to engrave.  It just wants to cut.  It's showing as all one piece in glowforge.  I have tried ungrouping, etc..

No handbook and Introductory videos available for the Glowforge? I guess you need just color filled shapes (No stroke) to tell how deep to engrave depending on the lightness value.

If it works like in this video, it seems you just need to assign different styles (maybe just have different objects). Then group (?) the whole thing before saving as svg.
