I'm trying to replace my SVG file, but for some reason I can't, it keeps giving me a message saying that the file is bigger than 1.86 MB. It looks like this is my max upload

Please reply to this message to ensure you have passed probation.

In the gallery, Moini (Maren)  has left you this reply:

So  feel free to delete the original 19mb image and upload some smaller ones.

Okay, so basically what you're saying is to delete the whole thing and re-upload is that correct ?  " instead of just clicking on the button and uploading?"

    Yes.

I've deleted and uploaded the file again My SVG file looks different for some reason. When I look at the image on the inkscape.org website. And now I don't know if I can delete and re-upload or if I need to do it, on my Inkscape program, it looks fine

The attached image timestamped 16.01.25 is missing elements, but the other looks complete. The gallery upload looks complete to me.

No Right above the word art it's blue in the original display one it doesn't show the blue and the circle has a pointing cross line., I just realised that my file also contain fonts which I have removed deleted from the SVG and for some reason somewhere in the SVG file. It mentions that those previous text that I've used and deleted are there. Even though they're not there, there's only one type of Font  that I'm using, but it mentions my previous five fonts that I've used. So how do I delete it. The Font that I'm using. on Google, it's mentioned that it's an open source but apparently from what I'm hearing the bold version is not so is it okay for me to acquire a license if it's possible and send you the license of using the font. As far as reducing the file size to under 5 MB, I don't know what's going on. When I optimise the fire I can get it down to 9.3 if I save it as optimize, Inkscape  file. I can't get it lower than that for some reason, and I'm wondering if they are hidden files that I can't see, but when I go to. Objects there is no object button. There's only objects and layers and I have a lot of layers so it's really hard for me to know what's going on or reduce the file size.

There is a feature: Menu; File>Clean up document, which may help reduce file size and get rid of detritus.

There may also be text objects that have zero characters, which might become evident if all text is selected and some invisible objects are outlined.

Objects that were previously text may have tags regarding typeface info that is used to recover if text is to be re-typed.

The Objects and layers dialog has a setting for only layers, which can be unchecked to see the objects listed.

I cannot reduce the file sites. I can't figure out how to move text that isn't there so I went ahead and made a new file app  graph art style. So do I delete again and re-upload or do I click the x button?

Paige is completely blank. I removed everything and it's still showing under document resource. The fonts that I have previously used. So I don't know how to get rid of fonts that are not there. And that's why I can't use my original image. So I don't know what you want for me, and how to remove something that isn't there. And the file after I cleared everything and cleaned up, the page is 274 KB instead of, 99KB

For some reason, I have a gut feeling that the file is 5.4 MB bigger than what it should be BUT I CAN'T GET THE ORIGINAL FILE UNDER 9.3 MB THAT'S THE SMALLEST I CAN GET IT. SO THAT'S WHY I'VE UPLOADED A NEW IMAGE.  BUT I JUST FOUND OUT FROM CHRIS THAT I WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO TOUCH THAT LOGO WHICH I DIDN'T. I ONLY CHANGED THE LOGO FROM BLACK TO BLUE, I don't know if it's okay. IT WAS NOT VISIBLE, OR BARELY VISIBLE WITHOUT ME, ADDING DYNAMIC OFFSET TO THE BACK OF THE FONT was the only way I can get the Inkscape  logo to be visible and not camouflage because of the dynamic range background that I have in the image that I've uploaded. So let me know if it's okay if not can I change the logo again and upload I don't know if I can modify delete or upload since I've already uploaded 2  SVG files. They are completely different from each other. The original image that I've uploaded the font that I was using. I've only used one font. This is the font that I was using the font is completely free to use. I don't know why other names of different fonts that have used previously in this files still show, even though I removed the fonts, but the font name still shows under document resource, so when I view document resource, it still shows the names of the fonts that I've used, even though I remove them completely. I wanted to use the 3-D text image because I absolutely love it but I can't because it's too big and I don't know how to remove delete fonts that aren't there. And that's why I uploaded a new image. That feature and dynamic offset style. my dynamic offset style. This is the link to the font that I was using in the 3-D text that clearly states that font is free to use and after talking to my copyright lawyer about the font, she sent me the same link about the font so clearly state that I don't need permission to use the font. It's completely free to use. this is the lake again https://www.fontsquirrel.com/license/komika-axis  if you have any tips on, how can I reduce the file size from 9.3 I would love to hear it but for now I can't and that's why I have a new image.

    EYAL KURT EYAL KURT @eyalk

Okay, it looks like in the new image I did not change the logo at all. I just added dynamic offset within the layers work area to the logo so I guess Chris point of view is different then mine. If I remove the dynamic offset that I've added behind, then the Inkscape  logo Will be camouflaged and really hard to read, because he will be barely invisible. That's the only reason I've added that dynamic offset behind the logo, and if I remove it, the iron scape logo on the top will be barely visible with this image with the new image. I'm uploading an example of the new image without the dynamic offset behind the logo, so just let me know if the new image that I've uploaded is okay as far as the modification in the top of the image logo area or if I need to remove the dynamic offset that I've added in the work space layers area . Or if I need to remove it like creases, thinking.

The "completely empty" file had a layer ("hidden layer") filled with text.

Plus, as described earlier, text that has been converted to paths may still have style information on the font that was used. That style information does not mean the text is still there, but it helps if one wants to  restore the text later. If not needed, the style information can be deleted using the XML editor.

Here is the file after I converted all text to paths and cleaned out the style tags.

I haven't read all the guidelines for the logo & branding, but I would put the branding and version over plain areas for readability.

Generally I think your designs are very good. 👍

YEAH, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIND THE TEXT HIDDEN LAYER SO ONCE I'M GONNA PASTE THE 3-D TEXT AGAIN GO AHEAD AND LAYER IS GONNA SHOW AGAIN SO I GUESS I'M GONNA STICK WITH THE NEW IMAGE BUT WHAT I WANTED TO KNOW IF I NEED TO DELETE WHAT I HAVE ALREADY NOW because it looks like the screenshot has not changed with the new image and it's showing the old image the 3-D text when the new image is dynamic offset. So do I need to click delete again or what I have now is right, and I just have to wait I don't know why it's still showing the old SVG design when I have a new design.

The hidden objects can be seen using the Layers and Objects dialog.

WELL, YEAH, THAT'S WHERE I PUT THE TEXT THAT I USE, BUT I'VE MANAGED TO REMOVE IT MANUALLY THROUGH OPENING THE SVG IN A TEXT EDITOR AND REMOVING THE HIDDEN FONT THAT I WASN'T USING SO IT LOOKS LIKE I'M BACK WORKING ON THE 3-D TEXT. IMAGE AGAIN JUST ONE QUESTION, WHAT DO I DO DELETE THE ENTIRE image to upload or click the X button and replace the upload that's the main question that I have. The new SVG is finally reduced to 6.6 MB.

Okay, so I just re-uploaded I was waiting for an answer I just clicked delete we uploaded the file. Hope this time it's gonna be okay but the file is not too big and about the text to be clear again. The text is free to use. I cannot acquire a license for it because it's free to use including the bold version.  Do you Rfall provides you with all the information about the font that I'm using for the image the reason that I'm stating this is because it was brought up before on my original upload, so here is a link to provide you with full information about the font. I got this for my copyright attorney.. So that's why I went ahead and decided to go with the 3-D text image again here's the link. https://www.fontsquirrel.com/license/komika-axis

I am trying to figure out where to add the link to the license for the font is this correct what I'm trying to do I went to document properties licensing I chose open Font license, and then it gives me an area to add a URL ? So is this where I need to add the URL for the license for the font that I'm using?.

Okay, it looks like I also have an option to add a link, but I don't know if the link that's already there needs to stay there. But it looks like I can replace it and add the link for the font that I'm using. So I'm not sure where to add the link to the licensing font.
