Hi everyone, I’m fairly new to Inkscape and loving it so far, but I’ve run into something that’s confusing me.
When I scale an object (like a rectangle or a line), the stroke width also scales up or down. But sometimes I want the stroke width to stay the same no matter how much I resize the object.
Is there a way to lock or prevent the stroke width from changing while scaling? I looked around in the preferences but maybe I missed something.

Appreciate any tips or tricks — thanks!
Not in front of Inkscape right now, but there’s a button/toggle in the top row which is for maintainig stroke width during scaling.
