Beginners' Questions How to extract contents of a one-page SVG after PDF import

    Hi -- I imported a PDF and it comes up as an SVG using the multi-page feature with a single page in it.

    If I use the Pages Tool and delete the page, it deletes the contents of the page.

    If I select everything in the page and cut, delete the page, then paste, the location is lost.

    Is there a way to convert the document into a true single-page SVG?

    Thanks! I had poked around in the svg and didn't figure it out, so that's helpful. Anyway, I found "Paste -> In Place" and that also worked in my case (cut, delete the page, paste in place.)
