I am trying to place a circle so that it is within an equilateral triangle, equidistant from all 3 points OR the center of all 3 sides. If I were drafting it I would draw perpendicular lines from the center of each side up to its opposite point & then put the point of my compass where the 3 lines crossed. If I try to use the align features, it centers it on the rectangular bounding box of the equilateral triangle, which does not put the center of the circle on the center point of the triangle. Is there an easy/str way to do this? Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't read your text properly before answering.
I think you may not have "Path intersections" enabled in the snap options.
Thanks for the super fast response and great pictures!
All set - yay!
