I have a fairly simple problem, but I haven't been able to find an answer. Let's imagine that I have created an image that I want to draw. I will select my path and then use the hatch field extension to fill in my outlines. How do I undo the hatch fill if I decide I don't want to do it a second time? For that matter, Is there a way to reset path I have selected back to square one if I decide to do so?
I'm not even using the fill menu to get the result. So let's say I import a logo. I'll then trace the object path. If I want to fill in the object, I'll use the eggbot hatch fill extension and it works beautifully. If I decide to change the hatching (maybe a pixel tighter or so) I have to re apply the hatch settings. Then, once I start the eggbot it will do the entire logo twice because I've applied the hatching twice. It's very frustrating.

How should I know how to eliminate the EggBot´s hatch - how does this belongs to Inkscape? Can´t you change the hatch fill at the extension?
I am a beginner to Inkscape, I am have downloaded an Axidraw and use the hatch fill extension in Inkscape. My first project came out beautifully. Then I try to do again, this time it didn't work.
I keep getting a message and it wouldn't work. I hope someone can help me with this problem, I had uninstall and reinstall Inkscape twice nothing changed.

If you´re talking about GCodetools->Area fill it ends in a group which you can ungroup and receive your drawing and area fill separately.
Thank you for your input....I should have been more specific. I'm using an eggbot extension for the hatch fill.

Does this make any difference regarding getting rid of the fill by ungrouping - selecting - deleting?

@AzTeddyKGB, can you attach two files: one with the hatch, and one with the revised hatch?
