I have downloaded this extension - it came as a zip file. When I use Extensions>Manage extensions and click the folder icon to navigate where i have extracted it to and think that should allow me to install extension - nothing happens, it finds inx and py files in the extracted folder, but does not install them. Choosing Py wheel, or any files does not help either. I am a TOTAL novice.
i cannot comment of the actual extension page because I need two of my posts to be approved by admins- requirement.

Bonus points, if you:
Attach* a screenshot of the issue.
Please have a look at the screenshot- step by step.
Thank you very much❤ It has to be noted that there are two places to place the extension- I first tried in the Roaming - user extensions - it did not work, then I placed them in the system extensions. Once again thank you again.
It should work (it's working here) in the user extensions(roaming) directory.
The benefit to using the roaming directory, is the contents will be persistent when Inkscape is updated/reinstalled. In the program directory, the extensions will need to be reinstalled if Inkscape is updated/reinstalled.

Ok, I don't use the extension manager, so I will describe how I manually install extensions:
In Inkscape:
menu: Edit>Preferences>System> open the User extensions folder.
Copy the contents of the extracted zip file into the User extensions folder.
Restart Inkscape; the extension will be in the poorly named menu: Extensions>Examples group.
Thank you very much❤
