Hello, I'm trying to flip a group of objects, but I would like to flip them individually, not as a group (in a similar way as to "apply to each object separately" in the "Transform" menu) without having to manually select each one of them.
For example, consider these three objects:
I would like to know whether there is a way to obtain this in a single click, instead of selecting and flipping each object individually:
If I select the whole group and click "vertical flip", I will obtain this, which is not what I intended:
Sorry for the very large images. Is there a way to scale them using the comment interface here on the forum?
You'll probably kick yourself over this one: just use the "apply to each object separately" option in the transform dialog. The trick is realising that flipping something vertically is the same as scaling its height by -100%.
Hi Xav, thank you very much for your suggestion: I've just tried scaling the height of the objects to -100% with the "apply to each object separately" option, and it seems to be working perfectly! Just out of curiosity, I also tried duplicating the original group of arrows and flip them individually, and they do line up perfectly with the -100% stretched ones!
