I´m using version 1.0.2.2 x64. I tried to create a small image using the text component. Something basic. It´s only a little text using the font Palace Script MT. When I try to export to .PNG the resulting file displays a watermark that says: "www.cadsofttools.com" in the upper region and "Evaluation version" in the lower region. Additionally the exported file text does not match with the selected font. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong.
I still believe this version has nothing to do with the watermark - it seems you have a plug-in installed (proprietary CAD-data interpreter?) which maybe is nested/associated with Inkscape installation. I have no clue how this License-wise works but good to know otherwise.
Ok, thanks for the possible hypotheses on this problem. One would think that because it is a PORTABLE version, all the components should be independent of the system. But okay, I only published it in order to know more information about this strange behavior
I still don't think it's Inkscape - you have some other components at start. Can you upload a sample file for further investigation? I'd like to link this thread to the dev team. Thanks.
I am very ashamed. I checked the generated file again and found that it was my viewer that was putting the watermark on the file. Indeed, Irfanview seems to have problems displaying .SVG files and therefore what it does is place those messages noted above. When I tried to open the file with EDGE, everything went as it should. Please close this thread now and I offer a thousand apologies for the false alarm

Never ever. Where do you got your Inkscape version from????
Hi, PixelPest. Did a quick search for the above company. See this link
https://cadsofttools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3141
The company page refers to Inkscape.
The watermark is not caused by Inkscape.
Sorry guys. I must clarify the issue i´m having. The version that I used was the portable version published on the official page at https://inkscape.org/es/release/inkscape-1.0.2/windows/64-bit/compressed-7z/dl/
But the issue is not happening with the export as PNG version (my error). Correction: The issue occurs when i try to export as SVG.

You linked to the 7z version. (7z version is using the %appdata% folder on your system)
The portable version is different and is found here. Inkscape 1.0.2 - Windows : 32-bit | Inkscape

I´ve uploaded my both results to:
Evidence https://clip2net.com/s/4bOmEVE
Here is possible to view both displays, the first one with Edge browser and the later with Irfanview.
Sorry again.
I'm glad we talked about it. Have a nice weekend. 😁
