{question} Hi.I'm not good at English, but I want to question about Inkscape here.
When I try to "Rotate", often an error causes and Inkscape crashes. For example, "shift" key + Drag, move center point and press "]" or "[" key to rotate an object. Then error occurred with error message. Error message is as follows.
"Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now."
Can I ask you about this problem? if you don't mind, please tell me some information.
{operating environment} Mac OS X:High Sierra 10.13.6
Hi Okurage, I have tried this with Sierra and XQuartz 2.7.11 and Inkscape 0.92.2, but have found no errors. The developer's version 1.0 beta works fine under MacOS High Sierra. That is a good tip from Victor. You do not use XQuartz with that new Inkscape version, it installs very easy.
@Victor, for MacOS+XQuartz there seems to be no version 0.92.4. If you click on that download link, it refers to 0.92.2.

Hi there @Okurage. How are you doing today?
Have you tried doing the same but with a newer version of inkscape? We currently have 0.92.4 version and, in paralel, we also have 1.0 beta 2 version.
Please try it out and let us know how it went! Any questions please feel free to post here.

@Victor Westmann, @Kirstie
Thank you both. I was able to solve the problem.
Thanks to the simple and appropriate advice, even if I was not good at English, I proceeded without hesitation!
I installed a new version and it works fine at this point.
But since I am a beginner, I may ask questions again in this forum.
At that time, I would appreciate it if I could study like this time.
see you!

Hi @Okurage, I hope you are doing fine.
That is not a problem! Inkscape is made of a majority of volunteers from multiple different countries across the world.
