Hi everyone. I have a question about a canvas with background color and the bleed area that surrounds it.
I need the background color of my canvas to extend (or spill over to my bleed lines.
My finished size will be 10 inches by 10 inches.
Do I increase the actual size of my canvas and then set my guides (or margins) and bleed lines? So if finished document size needs to be 10" x 10" would I create a 10.5" x 10.5" canvas with 1/4 (0.25) inch margins/guidelines and 1/4 (0.25) inch bleed?
Thank you. I appreciate all the helpful comments I've received on my other posts. I wish I could return the favor by answering questions in the forum but I'm just not experienced enough with Inkscape.
I thought about it more this morning and I do think that, yes, my canvas will be 10.5" x 10.5" with 1/4" each margins and bleed and have a cut size of 10" x 10"
Glad I figured it out or thought things through on my own. I must be learning!
