Hi - I am having trouble with one file that has text - it won't export to Cricut without the error message "The uploaded SVG contained the following items that are not supported: Text elements".

I have converted the text to path, ungrouped and united it, Also have tried different fonts, removed the text, started again, and get the same. I have successfully exported other files, and can't understand why I'm having trouble with this one. I have checked the object dialog box and can't find any text element.... can you help?

Select the Text object and go Path->Union - nothing more - nothing less. Let´s see if this will help.

Wow- that's weird! It works! I have always converted object to path, then done Union! It used to work......shows as text in the object dialog box but downloads perfectly in Cricut Design Space. I wonder if it's because they've been messing with Text in the latest update. Thanks So Much!!!!!!!

My pleasure. Could be even after "Path->Union" a group or groups are left in the selections. Status bar is your friend. 😉
