Beyond the Basics Why is Line Distorting after increasing width after tracing bitmap

    I turned an image into path by tracing it bitmap but, after that, when I increase line thickness it gitches.
    Here are the pic of just bitmap and after resizing.

    There are likely overlapping nodes. I'd use the node tool to edit the paths.
