If I "CLIPped" text with a wood texture. How can I add shadow to the text ? I want to have wood textured text on a different tone wood background. I am able to "CLIP" the text (with wood texture), but when I try to add shadow, it doesn't work.
Advice ?

I´d duplicate the text - give it a grey tone - put it underneath the clipped Image with a little offset and adjust some blur:
