Hi , so i am new to Inkscape and wondering if i can change the colors of say a spiral itself , just the line art , not a fill? If i put out a spiral and go to the edit objects menu , then it shows some stroke options , and if i select the spiral and click the color palette it partially fills in the spiral. I am hoping to change the the color of the spiral line itself only. Also is there only the few shapes like spiral, stars , and 3d boxes , or can i add more ? Or do i have to create my own? thanks for any help

To adjust colours in general there's a dedicated panel for it or if like to use the bottom swatches make sure to hold "shift"-key down when assigning/adjust stroke colours.

Yes , thank you , that works. Is there any other shapes available , like say a sphere or something.
