I know this is an old post, but as I am having the same problem, I thought I could just write in here.

I want to Vectorize a PNG and Change Colour, but no matter what I do it doesn't work. Is it because I am using a MacBook?

I have followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjo2vo48mnI, and after nothing worked, I even download the PNG used in the tutorial, but still nothing happens.

What can I do?

I would scan using colors. (Why the tutorial does not use colors is baffling.)

Can you share an image example? The file of the YT video is available as SVG BTW.

I don´t understand where the problem is here - so an example bitmap plus a brief in what´s the goal would help.
