Since there's no thumbnail for objects in the layers palette like there is in Affinity, why isn't at least the fill and stroke color shown in the big empty area, so you have some chance of figuring out what an object is by looking in that list?
That would defeat the purpose of a layer color, wouldn't it?
Why not use the huge empty area to put a colored box for fill, with a 2px colored stroke on it for stroke color? Feels like so much wasted space now...

There is also a link to a demo extension in the middle of the post which changes the label colours to either fill or stroke colour.
