I don't know what I did but now every time I try and draw a polygon or start the shape comes out really strange. The last action I tried to do was to rotate a polygon and then it got all screwed up. Now every time I try and draw a new one they are all screw up. How do I reset this shape to default? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling inkscape but that didn't work. Thank you.

Hello, I think we should see what values you use while "stars and polygons" selected and active not the "select" tool as in your image.

Anyway, Use reset button to reset the values of polygons and stars as shown in below image:
