Hi. I currently do not use Inkstich. I offered the previous post for folks to read what has already been shared, to seek out other options, and individuals who have asked something similar.
Hi , yes I found the solution for my problem you have to select all Ctrl+a after that go to object creat path next step extensions-> Inkstitch -> trouble...-> delete .. i have the French version so I don’t know if I’m using the good translation for the steps
you can also visualize path in the extensions menu it will show you the problème
Hi hkanso. Thanks for answering. However, that is not a solution since Ink/stitch "will not" advance to the Params if the border crosses itself in the inkscape design. When you run the "Troubleshoot" function of Ink/stitch you can see if that error occurs. If the "border crossing" error is corrected within Inkscape, then one can advance to the Params section of Ink/stitch. If it is not corrected, it will not send the design to the Params section and will not create an embroidery file.

Hey, I’m late but I think he’s saying that we need to get into Params and adjust the MM of our design because it’s not the same shape/size as the dimensions we have loaded into Params. I’m not sure but I’m trying that now.

I am glad you found a workable solution.
And thank you for sharing, so it can benefit others as well.
I'm sorry but perhaps due to the translation the solution as described does not make sense. Can anyone else chime in?
once you write your test
step 1 : ctrl+a ( select all letters)
step 2 : path=>creat path
step 3: extensiens=>inkstitch=>fill tool or filling tools( just under lettering) => select both options
