And 16x16 (px?) is not right? I don´t understand. I´m drawing all my icons (and I made thousands of it as an "Icon-forger") in original page size and can export in pixel size to whatever I want when bitmaps are required - and usually that´s what is needed.
I would probably select the oldest file and assume that it is the original. If you open files with a text editor you can see the difference between the various SVG file formats:

I'm almost sure that not what I chose in the "File -> Save As" combo box in the bottom right corner...

In the screenshot attached there is File Save As dialog. In the bottom right corner of that dialog there is a combo box.
Right now it has text "Optimised SVG"
How fo I know if that is the format the file was originally saved?
