I just started with Inkscappe (1.3.2) and I'm trying to create a vector path to use with EZCAD2 to use it in laser engraving. The vector was originally created in photoshop then imported to Inkscape because I wanted to add to one of the sections a halftone. My two problems are:
1 - Don't know how to convert the halftone mask to a vector object, due that when I import the SVG to EZCAD2 it opens the halftone layer as it was originally.
2 - The vectors are not being saved correctly. When saving the image, some of the vectors change from position or are generated where there were no vectors before, something that didn't happen with the SVGs saved in photoshop/illustrator.
[Layer > Layers and Objects...] or [shift+ctrl+l] opens the Layers and Objects dialog. Expand the group and you'll see that your image has three clipped shapes.
2 - The vectors are not being saved correctly. When saving the image, some of the vectors change from position or are generated where there were no vectors before, something that didn't happen with the SVGs saved in photoshop/illustrator.
Try Force Repeat commands in preferences (use search). Inkscape will rewrite the pathdata (and remove transforms) if you flip or move the path back and forth.

How can I fix this? Thank.
I didn't notice this on my system. Increasing the calculation precision might help.
[shift+ctrl+p] opens Inkscape preferences.
[Input/Output > SVG Output] [Numeric precision: 10]
[Layer > Layers and Objects...] or [shift+ctrl+l] opens the Layers and Objects dialog. Expand the group and you'll see that your image has three clipped shapes.
Select path1
[Object > Clip > Release Clip]
Select path3 and delete
Select path1
[Object > Mask > Release Mask]
Select path1 and path575
[Path > Intersection]
Try Force Repeat commands in preferences (use search).
Inkscape will rewrite the pathdata (and remove transforms) if you flip or move the path back and forth.
