Beginners' Questions clip not for working for object

    Hi Inkspace community expert,

    How to clip this portion of triangle from circle image : to create arc of circular object.

    Clipping is not working, what i have to do in this case, please suggest the right process.

    I would convert the star (triangle) to path first, then set inverse clip.
