Edit > Undo History...] shows the editing sequence since you opened your drawing and lets you roll back to any point. You can go forward too, but only in a single sequence. Branches in your workflow are not recorded. All history is discarded when you close the file.
[Object > Layers and Objects...] or [shift+ctrl+L] opens a dialog showing the internal structure of your drawing. Here you can see (and you can edit) group members, hidden shapes, stacking order, object labels, etc.
Is it possible to see the history tree of actions or functions performed during the drawing?
Similar to CAD world where you can see which functions where performed during the work...
