I'm working on a text-based SVG and have used the 'union' function so all the letters and words are grouped. Occasionally I need to go back and make correction on a letter, which requires having each of the letters be individual again. Does anyone know if it's alright to use the 'Split Path' function for this (and then use 'union' again after my correction to the letter is made) instead of 'break apart'? Just want to make sure it will still work alright as an SVG with this method- Thanks!
Hi there,

I think that is the intended use: https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php?title=Release_notes/1.2#Path_Operations
But I would probably use Combine to put paths back together.
Great- thank you so much!
