AboutScreen v1.4 entry - Creative Growth - wonderous plants grow when creativity is set free. I love working with colours, simple shapes, and gradients to create the illusion of something rather complex. This design ended up with ~13,000 elements in a single file [for the about screen and the two extra layouts [web and welcome], countless clip groups, dozens of gradients, a LOT of path effects and blurs, and layer blend modes to give nice colour mixes. ...and Inkscape did not disappoint. In the ~8 hours it took to design [thanks to elements already created prior] I had no crashes and no major issues with the tool. --- Curated by Maren Hachmann on April 2 2024 5:13 PM Font: Bebas Neue (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Bebas+Neue)
The Inkscape growing tower of colors. I wanted to try and make some 3d vector transform to Inkscape. It took a loooo..ong time to clean up, transform and add, make details.. The font of the numbers is Anta (OFL) and author texts is Orbitron derivative (OFL).

idea explosion By @elnido_estudio on instagram at: https://www.instagram.com/elnido_estudio/ This illustration represents the moment when ideas come true thanks to inkscape, I also highlight the new features that I liked the most in version 1.3, Happy Birthday Inkscape Used Font: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Nunito?preview.size=31&stylecount=10&query=nuni
"Draw Freely" in sticker style, added with some objects in flat color. The concept is to express the tagline "Draw Freely." as its main focus, in hope it could encourage Inkscape users to draw and create vector works freely. The objects around the "Draw Freely" sticker are added to visualize freedom (landscape, flying geese, deer and birds in nature). And for the last, I prefer light gray as the background to show "clearness" and "unlimited" space.

Hi, with this work I wanted to play with the style of the vectors that resemble the constellations in the sky, so with that idea in mind, instead of the known constellations the new ones would be some icons of Inkscape. Hopefully, like when we stargaze we feel inspired, people can look at Inkscape the same way and wonder of the infinite possibilities of the creative mind. Thank you.
Inkscape 1.0, create free!
Hi, I made this entry for the About Screen Contest for Inkscape 1.2. I am a teen who has gained an interest in vectors starting with Adobe Illustrator. I was shown to Illustrator by my visual design teacher and I have been in love with vector graphic editors ever since. A few months later I looked into Inkscape because I know I can't pay for Illustrator. And I was amazed at how well features were implemented. So, I wish more great features will get implemented as well as all the contributors to have good luck and a bunch of fun (and more work done on this). (also the Bot's name is a WIP but for now, I call him Draw bot or Drawbe)

Inspired by the name INKSCAPE. "Draw Freely" continues with flow/escape of ink of various vibrant colors. Tried to keep it very simple and clear. Fonts used: Sacramento, Roboto Light/Black
From my imagination I tried to make an abstraction of what the title of the 'Inkscape' program implies, as if it were an ink leak coming out of a brush, as in a surreal and artistic world. Desde mi imaginación intente hacer una abstracción de lo que supone el titulo del programa "Inkscape", como si fuera un escape de tinta que sale de un pincel, como en un mundo surrealista y artístico.
Inkscape 1.0, a gift for all of us!

"Cutting edge design". Certainly there have been some heavy fixation going on in this build. Still rough? May use the plane a bit more to remove the splinters. A huge shout out for the craftmenship in the making. The appearance is heavy based on the new blending modes. For the look check this rendering: http://lazururh.deviantart.com/art/about-screen-inkscape-0-92-644664645 or open it in a 0.92+ build. This is a reupload since couldn't edit the previously uploaded thumbnail. (previous variant is here: http://lazururh.deviantart.com/art/about-screen-inkscape-0-92-644395505)
Ancient Buildings by Black Beard YK The work idea is in the form of the Inkscape logo, forming an ancient building that has both mystery and strength. A magic ball that has power for those who have it. Inkscape, with its strength, use and support of its community is the perfect tool that gives us the freedom to work. I used the typeface BottleRocket BB. It is free for personal use. I used open sans for 'inkscape.org' and 'artwork by: Praveen'. If I did anything wrong please forgive me. Hope you select my work. Thank you.
My idea was to make this very simple, an ink escaping prison with its tools to draw freely.
