That ain´t gonna work. What you call a background contains far too many similar or the same color tones as the object. I would first crop the subject in an image editing app. Do you really want to scan 256 colors? That will give you more than 250K in nodes as a result. Difficult to handle. An AI-upscaler might be a better solution.

Noob here, having issues w Trace Bitmap. Not erasing background. Anyone resolve this issue?
