Hello! 

I'm trying to find a way to get my digital logo to look more like my drawing, by having the text stand out more. I wanted to remove the compass behind the text and a little around the text. Is there a way to go about it?

Here's a simple outline method.

Select your text.
[Edit > Clone > Create Clone]
Set the stroke thickness.
Set the stroke colour to match the background, or any other colour.
[Object > Lower]
