    Hello,

I see this kind of "fuzzy border" in game art quite a lot (link to imgur). What I mean is that the borders are kind of fuzzy/irregular. I´ve been trying to recreate this in inkscape but I could´t find a way.

Is this possible with some kind of custom stroke or some other trick in inkscape?

    Thank you!

    Just a quick test:

Or draw a "fuzzy" line and use LPE "Bend" or "Pattern along Path" to make the shape.

If you really want to get creative - apply a filter you like - convert the filter results to a 300dpi (depends on your end use) bitmap - then do a trace bitmap of that result.
Now you have it in vector format.
I also use Tyler's Roughen path effect with a filter applied.
Clipping and Masking are also good tech to use with filters.
If you find the tech you like - be sure to document step by step for future reference. Store all your favorite effects in a document. Filters and Path effects can be copied/pasted onto new objects.
