    Well, title says it all...

I want to transform a rectangle into a trapezoid. Haven't done that in a long time.

Once I transformed the object into a path, I select two nodes at the end of a segment, and want them to be moved symmetrically towards or away from one another.

I know I can use the comma and period keys to do so. But I guess there is a way to do so with the mouse.

    Any clue anyone ?

The node tool controls has a button for transform handles, the shift modifier will transform from the center between the nodes.

Look for the button with four black arrows.

Select the 2 nodes and hit "H" for "Flip horizontally". The shortcut works while the menu entry Object.>Flip horizontally will flip the whole object here. Not sure that´s intentionally.

Many thanks to both of you !

@TylerDurden : that's exactly what I was looking for ! All the buttons where activated as needed, but my is guess I tried to moove the node, and not the handle 🙄

@Polygon : I never tried that before and didn't expected the result. Nice ! That will come in handy.
