Hello thanks for having me, newbie here , first time post.
I have been attempting to use the ellipse tool in Inkscape. In my designs on Inkscape they look smooth. but when I go to print them they come out jagged. I tried converting them from object to path to see if that would clean them up. To no avail. I am at a loss to figure out what I am doing wrong. If I use bezier everything comes out fine but for some reason when I go to print anything with the ellipse its jagged. now I'm just repeating myself. please if you have any suggestions.
Please see attached files. one is the svg the ellipse is in the cowboy layer
the other is a picture of the output of the ellipse on a transparency.

I would try moving the ellipse path and the cowboy bitmap into their own layers.
You don't have to print directly from Inkscape by the way. If it's a difficult image you can export to hi resolution png.
Ping has transparency and when you print what you see is what you get.
thanks I will try that.
