In January we rented a small cabin on the inland waterway, near the beaches of Jacksonville, Florida. Each day was a new adventure as we explored the mostly empty beaches.
I am still fascinated by printing on very thin Japanese Washi papers. The paper is mostly made from Mulberry tree fibers. By making some of the colors partially transparent - for example the boardwalk - the light ink coating brings out the fibers in the paper and lets them add to the texture in the paper.
