Hi, I'm dupreedraws. I am an artist and graphic designer who uses Inkscape. While this is my first post on the Inkscape forums, January of this year marked 5 years since I started using Inkscape. My experience with vector art as a whole totals to about 8-9 years.
Yuutopia! is a mythical lost website from the mid-2000's, on which people could speak to each other in any language. I created this logo for the concept I came up with. It's partly inspired by the Frutiger Aero aesthetic, the arcade game known as TwinBee, and of course, Y2K websites. Think, "Tower of Babel: Online".
The Globe/Earth texture is from freeworldmaps.net. The "Blue Marble" clouds are courtesy of nasa.gov, though they're hard to see. I forgot to give credit for those assets in the original post. Also, the Yuutopia! text itself is modified from the font "Hiruko".
(Edit: I emoji-reacted to my own message on accident, lol.)
