This is printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper.
The paper is quite thick and has an etched pattern, which helps bring out textures in the art work.
The paper is excellent for making rich, deep, colors.

There is a significant difference between the .png created by Inkscape and the final print.
The signed image is the finished print on paper.
The other is the .png file created by Inkscape.

I had to run a number of iterations until reaching a really good finished image.
    Initially I printed on 8-1/2" x 11" paper.
Once I was satisfied, I scaled the print up and printed it in a 13" x 17" format.
Even in the larger size, I had to make about 6 test prints until I reached the optimum art.

I agree!  I sit back and just let the image fall pleasantly on the eyes.  The three-dimensionality offered by the Hahnemuhle paper is captivating.  You have produced something rare and fine here.  Dare I say that it outshines your previous artwork?!  You are certainly exploring territory that is completely new to me.  Please carry on!  Best wishes, Roy

I might be using the phrase "fall pleasantly on the eyes" a bit overmuch.  Please accept my apologies if it sounds old.  When I see something that really attracts my attention, especially when both large-scale and small-scale work is well done, I take time to look at it, enjoy it, explore its intricacies, and tickle the imagination.  That is what your artwork does for me.  With high compliments, Roy
