Hi. If you have a curve and wanted to create a curve that followed its trajectory exactly, but limit its length to an exact perentage of the original curve, how would you achieve that?
Here are some steps to get that "target" curve from your "source" curve. This was done in Windows using Inkscape 0.92.4. (The process should work in Inkscape 1.0 as well, though I have not tested it there.)
The "source" curve could he any curve, including a spiral.
This may be useful when designing shapes or wanting a portion of a curve and/or for aligning different shapes.
