Beginners' Questions Text not showing up on web browsers
  1. #1
    Axelrodde Axelrodde @Axelrodde

Starting recently the text doesn't show up when opened with a web browser. Text not appearing on Firefox. This has never happened to me before. I only have one web browser; Firefox.

Have not yet tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Inkscape program.

Have any other ideas? Re-installing carries risks.

Select text go Text->Unflow and save over.

Text->Unflow and save over did not cause the text to appear. @PolygonΒ

Does that work for you, on your Inkscape? Flow and Unflow are for text wrapping, on my Inkscape.

Reading the recent release notes mentioned nothing to remedy the missing text. @TylerDurdenΒ

Anybody else experience the same missing text?

Sure it works here - otherwise I wouldn't have recommend it. Not at my Mac right now, will upload the working file later.

Working here in FF also. I'd save with another filename to avoid browser caching.

Ok I see now, you are right; Text -> Unflow made text appear. Unflow also removed the wrap but that can be changed back. Thank @Polygon.
