Hi guys. Now I am sure there must be a way of hiding what is behind other lines and so forth.
In example I have this design that I want to place over another background.
But where it is white the background shows through.
Have attached screen shots.
You managed to colorise the orange parts/shapes - why not the hull?
I want the hull to be white, but its transperant on top of the rest of the design.
In Document Properties (Ctrl+Shift+D) you can chose Chequerboard Background, that way you can see what is colered and what is not.
Thanks for all your help guys, got it sorted.
"Checkerboard" sucks to work with - you can have any color as a background while you´re drawing.
Well, well, PixelPest, that is apparently your opinion, I on the other hand find it very useful. 😉
Sure - it´s just my 2¢ - I can´t draw/design/paint on a "checkerboard" background - no way.
And I didn´t say it´s not useful - sure it is.
