Hello all. I've been working through the Lynda.com tutorials for Inkscape. In the video "Working with object clones" the instructor makes changing the "master" object of multiple clones look pretty straightforward... although when I follow his steps:
1. create an object.
2. create some clones of that object.
3. create a new separate unrelated object.
4. copy that object to the clipboard (Ctrl + c)
5. deselect the copied object, then select multiple clones with the Selector Tool.
6. Go to the menu, Edit > Clone > Relink to copied
The clones that I had selected intending to change their "master" just disappear.
Can anyone advise me as to what I am doing wrong here... thanks
