Have had Inkscape and this problem for a while on one of my Windows 11 computers. I cannot open or import files into the program. Nor can I drag & drop or copy>paste. No jpg, png, svg, pdf or eps files. I get the "You do not have Permission..." dialog every time. I can open a jpg in different program and copy paste the image, just can't load the actual file. And that doesn't help when I need to edit an svg. I have gone through the step of setting permissions to Everyone in the Windows properties several times. Even changed the Owner. Removed and reinstalled with a cold boot in between. Disabled anti-virus. Cussed a lot. Can't think of what else to try. Can you help? Interestingly it works fine in Safe Mode. Again, this is happening only on one computer - neither my Lenovo Yoga nor my Thinkpad are not having this issue.

Perplexed in Clearwater...
I'm still on Win 10, but I'd uninstall again and install as administrator using the .msi version, install for all users.
