Why are some text fonts chopped when used in Inkscape? It's them that have issues or is it Inkscape? Can it be fixed? The font in the image is Comfortaa
The fill option is on... I could remove it and put a stroke color than paint the inside with the same color but it looks bolder even in the light version (3rd picture). And then if I remove the stroke color some letters just look weird like the h and g on the sides (2nd picture).
The Fill Rule button can be set to even-odd or nonzero, it's in the upper right corner of the Fill/Stroke dialog. (as described in the link I posted above)
The font you selected is a variable font. If it won't look right, there is likely a fixed (non-variable version).
What is the name of the font? We might be able to test it to find a solution.

I'd check the Fill-rule button in the Fill & Stroke dialog. It's in the upper right of the panel.

Try the other fill option. The one you are using usually causes me problems with text.
What other fill option?
