I can’t understand: is there a command line in Inkscape for Windows? How for AutoCad? If this is a built-in XML editor, is there a training course, examples for entering arguments and operators?

Inkscape has a built in XML Editor (Edit menu) but that's not where the commandline access is.  If you want to learn XML, I guess there are plenty of only courses available.  As far as I understand, Inkscape's XML Editor uses a special subset of XML.  But that's only my not-so-tech-savvy impression.

When you draw in Inkscape, the XML is automatically created, and you can see it in the XML Editor.  If you select something on the canvas, the code for it is highlighted in the XML Editor.  And vice versa, highlight something in XML Editor, and it become selected on the canvas.

To be honest, I don't really know how to access the commandline.  I do know that you don't have to open Inkscape to use it.  The only other thing I know about it, is that it's something you use a terminal for, and you enter various codes into it.  I guess I always thought that was cmd.exe in Windows.  But I don't know that for a fact.  Maybe there's a special terminal somewhere?

I also know that Inkscape has a reference guide for the commandline:  https://inkscape.org/en/doc/inkscape-man.html

AutoCad??  Isn't that a whole other program?  Inkscape is not a CAD program, unless you look at what CAD stands for "computer aided design", then I suppose Inkscape qualifies.  But it doesn't work like real CAD programs.

Hopefully someone else can clear up the details that I don't have.

Fyi, that particular faq is badly out of date.  It's a long story why it's still in the wiki at all.  But it's not meant to answer user questions.  The faq on the website is kept up to date, and is meant for users.

Also, the answer to that question seems to be missing from that faq anyway.

The faq was not updated but it still has the relevant information @SilvioManuel was looking for, the path where running Inkscape form the prompt.
